Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all use of the Asian Libaas platform, mobile experience, in-app concierge and any communication you have with us.
It is published by Asian Libaas Pvt. Ltd. (“Asian Libaas”, “we”, “us”) and is governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
Identity and contact — name, email, mobile, address.
Order and payment metadata — order number, amount, status, PayU transaction id; we do NOT store card or UPI credentials.
Measurements and design briefs — only what you provide to enable bespoke production.
Technical data — IP address, device, browser, session cookies.
Communication — messages exchanged with designers and our support team.
How we use it
To fulfil orders, manage payments, generate invoices, deliver email, prevent fraud, respond to grievances, improve our products, comply with Indian law and inform you about Asian Libaas (you may opt out of marketing at any time).
How we share it
Designers — only the information needed to fulfil your order.
Payment processors — PayU India for checkout and refunds.
Email and media providers — Resend (transactional email) and Cloudinary (images you upload).
Government authorities — only on lawful request under Indian law.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data through your account or by writing to grievance@asianlibaas.com. We respond within 30 days as required by law.
Retention
Order, invoice and tax records are retained for 8 years per the Income Tax Act and GST regulations. Marketing communications are kept until you opt out. Audit logs are kept for one year.
Security
We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access, rate limiting, audit logs and a strict change-management process. No internet system is perfectly secure; we follow reasonable security practices as defined under Indian law.
Changes
We may amend this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and via in-app banners at least 7 days before they take effect. Last reviewed 27 June 2026.
